As a wine lover, it may be very important to understand and appreciate what you are paying for. The topography in the Canary Islands does not allow mechanization of much of the work in the vineyard, as in many wine regions of the world. Together with the small cultivable land on which the wineries produce most of their wines, these are factors that have the most direct influence on the price.
