In the green north of Tenerife, in the winery Monje under the protected designation of origin DOP Islas Canarias, is this Monje Tintilla produced, a red wine of great singularity and aromatic richness. Made from 90% Tintilla and 10% Listan negro, native varieties of the Canary Islands, fermented in oak barrels and then aged during 8 months in new French Allier and Vosges oak barrels, what gives the Monje Tintilla toasted nuances that integrated perfectly with the aromas of both varieties. All this result in a complex wine, very structured and with a great aging capacity and evolution in the bottle. Monje Tintilla is a red canary wine with extraordinary personality, worth more than a try.
